Avast blocks access to an application (but does not quarantine the application or display any warning messages)

Open the Avast software interface and go to Settings > General > Exception and add the app to the list of exclusions.

If the problem persists after that, please email us at contact(@)avastedition.com with the URL or the .exe file of the application that is being blocked by Avast so that we can investigate it and, if necessary, add it to the whitelist.
