How do I extract the logs for a support request?

1. Click on the link below to download the Avast support tool and save it to a familiar location on your PC (such as the Windows desktop):
http://utils.support.tools.avast.com/tools/support/utils/avastsupport.exe

2. Right-click on the icon for the downloaded tool and select Run as administrator in the context menu.

3. If the User Account Control dialogue box prompts you to set permissions, click Yes (or on Continue).

4. If the Avast Support Tool does not run automatically, click Start

All you need to do then is send us this file as an email attachment, along with a description of the problem you’ve encountered, to support(@)avastedition.com
